It's probably because Angular CLI 6 changed several configurations, so the Node build was failing and the Nginx stage was not having the compiled code. I just updated the whole article to make it compatible with Angular 6 and Angular CLI 6. I also added a section about testing. Please check the new instructions and let me know how it goes.
